We're going to go through your settings on Substack. Each part of your settings that I feel is important. You can do a deep dive into settings, but remember you do not need to be a Substack expert. That's my job. You just need to make Substack manageable. That's it. Let's go through. At the top, you'll see basics.

Here you can add a logo. Substack does give dimensions underneath. Your publication name, you can change this as many times as often as you want. It will not affect the URL. Your URL is not the same as your publication name. This is what appears on your home. So that is what appears here. not your URL.

Your publication short description is very important. This appears several different places. It appears on your homepage here. It also appears on the welcome page. This is where people land. when they are asked to subscribe to your sub stack or they're being taken to a specific post. It's also what people see on notes.
